Frequently Asked Questions

You don’t need to have the right clothes, know the right people, or know exactly what to do. Just come as you are. You’ll find people dressed in a variety of ways at Clarksbury. Some dress more formally, while others come casually. Our concern isn’t what you’re wearing—it’s that you’re here.

We love having families worship with us! We want children to know the joy of following Jesus and to grow in their understanding of God’s Word. Our children’s ministry provides opportunities for children to learn about Christ in ways that are appropriate for their age while helping families grow together in faith. We have children's time during our service, and also offer children's church during the sermon. If you have questions about where your children should go when you arrive, just ask one of the smiling people who will be greeting you. We’ll be happy to help.

We believe singing is an important part of Christian worship. As we sing together, we are not simply listening to music—we are worshiping the Lord and encouraging one another with Biblical truth. Our Church loves to sing Biblically grounded hymns of the faith. On the 5th Sunday of every month, Clarksbury holds a singing service, often led by an outside group. Whether you know every song or are hearing one for the first time, you’re invited to participate as we worship together.

As part of our worship, we have an opportunity to give. If you’re visiting with us, please don’t feel any pressure to give. Giving is an act of worship for those who call Clarksbury their church home. Our guests are our honored visitors, and we want you to worship freely without feeling any obligation. However, our church is very discreet and discerning with every gift given, making sure that every offering is used to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, strengthen His church, and glorify God alone.

Absolutely not! We want you to feel welcome, not uncomfortable. While someone may greet you and introduce themselves, we won’t put you on the spot. Our hope is that you’ll have the opportunity to meet people, ask questions, and get to know us at your own pace.

With all the questions you may have during your first visit with us, it is easy to be anxious. Expectations may be high, but please know this:

When you step foot on our campus,

Most of All, Expect Jesus.

Above everything else, we want Sunday at Clarksbury to be about Jesus.

We gather because He has saved us.
We sing because He is worthy.
We pray because we depend upon Him.
We open His Word because He has spoken.
And we fellowship because He has made us part of His family.

Our prayer is that when you leave Clarksbury, you will have been encouraged by God’s people, challenged by God’s Word, and reminded of the greatness of our Savior.

Whether you’re a lifelong Christian or you’re simply asking questions about faith, there is a place for you at Clarksbury Church. We Can’t Wait to Meet You! You are welcome here!

Come worship with us.
Come hear God’s Word.
Come meet our church family.
